Ms. Margaret - The *pierced one* you posted was quite un-nerving. When the natives in different African or South Central American countries have piercings or other *appurtenances* they're not as shocking anymore as what we see these days in the major Northern Hemisphere countries.

Yes I agree, the native have theirs because it is a tradition. But I'm afraid some people in the western world have piercings, and it looks horrifying.

You are incontrovertibly correct about native traditions. Westerners do it because its a fad and they want to draw attention to themselves. Yes, they'll get my attention alright - I become repulsed by their self-mutilation. I guess self-mutilation is easier than learning how to write prose that will put food on the table, pay the bills, and put money in the bank. Or learning fine arts or performing arts...................

What kind of tree is that? I forgot what it's called they grow in the tropics.

you feel strange. The real name of this nebula is Helix. It is also called
God's eye taken by NASA. You notice it does look like an eye looking
right at you.
