After much soul searching I have decided to make a serious effort to cut down on my Red Red Wine

I'm with GrandDame Margaret on that one - Never could keep a blasted resolution anyway...

Going to lose some weight ... 1 pound a week for 52 weeks is my goal.

Tired of being 'lumpy' in the wrong places

Same here. I want to get down to under 14 stone. Also give up smoking (because of the cost) and drink more red wine (because my heart specialist told me to). I have one ot two others which I am working on.

Thanks, CD ... and I know with this group around, there will be lots of support in this endeavour.

Yep, our mate Teddles has laid down a benchmark for how we should go about losing the "lumpiness"...:angel::tiphat:

Happy New Year, folks. As for resolutions - I'm keeping a tad too busy to make any - again. Major project so far this winter is shoveling snow it seems. I feel like I built up as much muscle or energy as I had when I was in my fifties. Gee - that seems like a long time ago! Anyway, I'm enjoying our new home too much to even think of 'resolutions' that need to be braoken anyway. (Grinning)

ATB!

Struggling with the weight loss despite cutting my calorie and fat intake. Trying a product sold as ZERO NOODLES, available as noodles, rice or pasta. A Japanese plant product with no calories. Tastes very neutral so can be flavoured with whatever you fancy and the good thing is it is very filling so you do not feel hungry after eating it. Just treat the product as you would normal pasta, rice etc and the other benefit is it is good for diabetics and will help reduce blood/sugar levels. I am sure you will be able to source it Lars.

Shall we have a virtual weigh in? I suspect you would all prefer music scales.

Hahahaha - Thank you GrandDame Margaret for tickling my funnybone - I was on the floor writhing in laughter and my kids squealed with delight...
