I've been busier than a two headed cat in a fish market lately.

On the thread, never a problem ... I moved that thread for you a minute ago. Always glad to help on matters like this ... actually a nice break from dealing with all the spam stuff lately. As you know, I'm also on the admin staff at our sister site, Talk Classical (which Frederik Magle also owns), so my "spam duty" is doubled and I have to balance time between this site and the other.

We tweaked both of the forums software a little which will really help with this daunting task. I liked your suggestion of "The Spaminator" so much that I temporarily changed my "title" to just that here. :lol:.

The safest thing to do is read through the old threads and take note of the ones in colours which are hard to read. We would hate to mis your missives.

Yes, a lot os us oldies, or blindies find that colour very helpful thank you. About the only no nos are dark colours which you have probably realised by now, just about disappear on the dark backgrounds. You may have discovered that you can highlight these dark posts and they come out as white. best of luck with the computer

Youtube is very easy to share from. Even I have done it. With anything else unless there is a link, or I can cut and paste an address I tend to be stumped. Although I spend a good part of my working life on computers there are areas where I have a lot to learn. Keep your fingers croosed that you will be able to recieve spotify in the near future.

Always nice to find a new friend. I listen to Charlie Bird, Joe Pass, Martin Taylor, etc but I'm no expert. I just like jazz guitar and wish I could play that way. I discovered this site when looking for information on building a virtual organ for my wife. Think I'm there with the information; just got to get on and do it!

Hi Steve,

Click on the down arrow next to the "A" ... it opens a pull down menu for selecting the color. Of course, you have to highlight (like doing the first part of a copy/paste operation) the text first. Once the text is highlighted, choose the color from the pull down menu and ... Voila!

Just heard from spotify and they have informed me that they do not provide a service in America at the moment, but are hoping to in the future. I would be surprised if there is no similar service out there but I an not aware of any. Having said that someone here must know. I will post a thread and see what we get back.

I agree about BEST OF albums. Usually just a way for the distributors to make more money. BJH produced some good albums, but where probably not as good as PH or Moody Blues.

Sorry for the confusion. The colour you used on the last message to me is perfect. People often forget that the background ischanges when the leave a message or post, and what may seen a nice bright colour when writing becomes invisible when the background changes. Trying to catch up with all the posts at the moment as I have not had much time free for the forum. Keep up the interesting posts please. We all enjoy them

Dear WK,

There is a 30 second "timeout" between search requests for and on the forum. This was by design to limit the number of queries by bots who could possibly submit 1000's of queries in ten seconds or less, and thereby overload and/or take down the server in the process. Once the 30 seconds has elapsed, then you can start over on the search.
