Christmas Trees

Went to buy our tree last week (we never put one up until after my youngests birthday on the 16th) and were shocked to find a Norwegian Blue (?????) at 7 foot was now £45.00. Settled for a traditional tree at half the price. A few days later IKEA were selling off their trees at £1.00 each. Made a late call into B&Q this morning for some batteries and found them selling their trees at £0.01p. Yes, one penny each.

Maybe I will wait until Christmas eve next year.

Isn't it weird though ... that we all sit in front of a 'dead tree' eating candy out of our socks?

(ours is a fake tree - on a ledge above the living room)

I don't think anyone would want to eat sweets out of my socks Lars. As for the tree, Christmas would not be Christmas without a real tree. Even the Christmas we spent in France a few years ago, we managed to organise a tree.
