Comedy Of Errors new work update: It is almost 2 1/2 years since the release of 'Fanfare And Fantasy' which was phenomenally received by fans all over the world. The new album should be called "Spirit". Rob Aubrey has done a fantastic job with the final mix and mastering. The band will soon be sending the master discs off to get sorted and the CD will be released at the same time as the vinyl. The new CD has three tracks:
1: Spirit (which is split into 10 parts for the sole purpose of iTunes etc but will be a continuous track if purchased as an album) approx 45 minutes
2: Epilogue approx 6 minutes
3: Spirit (single edit) approx 4 minutes.

Hey Prog Head! You got me into it with another band,
so I had to check this one out, especially because I'm of Scottish descent.
After listening for a while, I'm surprised you didn't mention King Crimson as an influence.
I was hoping for a little Average White Band influence, maybe even Paul Young,
with Pino Palladino on bass, something like that.

But, not to just be critical, I'm hearing something that's out there far too often.
My professional band experiences come from a time when you were playing six nights a week,
to be full time, or playing three or two-nighters to be part-time, with weddings and functions.
That meant the lead singer developed his voice, as much from singing different styles,
than just singing every night, working every dance floor and audience.
This lead singer sounds like a nice young guy, obviously good at self-recording,
but not having the vocal experience to have that character.
Even Greg Lake, in King Crimson and then Emerson, Lake and Palmer,
had a louder, more resonant voice, with more dynamics.

But then, even as an older player,
I'm still not changing horses in the middle of the stream.
