this is my piece for string orchestra, the piece was played in the 2009 by Florence chamber orchestra:

the piece is based on a rhythm superimposed 6 / 8 - 3 / 4 and sometimes 6 / 8 -3 / 2
the harmony is built on chords in fourths.
After a brief introduction, the theme is displayed in fugue style.

Very interesting piece. Reminds me of the music I hear with like soundtracks of "Ben Hur" etc. I like music that I an relate to events/pictures in my mind anyway even if I am an organist.. THanks for posting.
