Hello angy and welcome to the forum. Just listened to some of their music. Have to say baritone sax is not my favourite instrument but I liked Max Navarro on bass.

Has anyone seen that there is a release of Miles Davis first nine mono recording on CD. These will be in mono as they originally were released by Columbia. Available on Amazon etc.

I've been listening to Bill Evans (Piano) of late; trying to get used to his piano style.
Got to admit it is growing on me.

Had a great commute today in the company of:
George Melly & The John Chilton Feetwarmers playing "Anything Goes" on cd
Say them live about 30 years ago, not the best sound, but a GREAT performance

E.S.T. Plays Monk. Pretty brilliantly, I might add.

Yup! One of their best albums, hands down.

For the past few days I have been rediscovering George Duke's music. Very groovy stuff. You guys heard of him?
