Hi everyone,
I owed to Old dude, Teddy, white knight , Mat and other friends to post on this sub forum something of my main work through the years as ethnic jazz composer and performer.
My main group was and still is "Physis Orchestra" started in 1980 as a small quartet with mixed nations personnel.
New breath and tutorial came in 1984 when I followed my teacher Tony Scott (clarinetist, composer, known for his band with Billie Holiday, Charlie Parker and more) who boosted our performance 1000% with his expertice and invaluable tutorials. Sadly I don't have any recording with our sessions with him, only people who came in "Half Note Jazz club, Athens" at the time may remember.... :-(
No record company/label accepted the works, so no CD/LP ect can be found, only Hellenic National Radio and there I recorded 9 projects with great success to devoted audience from 1983 to 1994 when the whole program stopped.
You can listen to something we did a couple of years back by downloading mp3 here as Karpathos.rar :

Any kind of feedback welcome !
Enjoy,
Panos
