Sorry I should have said Paraguayan Harp. I first heard it played by Fransisco Yglesia who played it here in Somerset whilst on tour. (He played with " Los Paraguayos" many years ago.) Well, to look at it is a very ornate harp and I think he played it through an amplifier. It has a pure bell like tone not at all scratchy like some harps. Glissandos and arpeggios sound really lovely on it but south american music also sounds wonderful on it. I'm sure you can find it on You Tube. SylviePS I would find it and send you a link but I don't know how.
