Photography too!!!
Was just interrupted by lunch.
So here goes again.
Dear Frederik:
What a talented soul you are! Composing, performing, conducting - now photography, or have you been at that for a while too?
My interest is combining photos and video clips with music to create and enhance mood or emotion within a certain theme. Combining different media seem to enhance the overall effect. Well, I guess there's nothing new about that! Picking appropriate music is half the battle.
My first post on a new thread just a few days ago was an example of the above - in this case made entirely with still shots - (to restrict size) though I usually combine video clips with stills. It's small because at the time I was not aware of allowable attachment size. The music for the video Day's End was by Einojuhani Rautavara who you must know very well - as you may also the music itself. I find Finzi's music well suited too - perhaps because what I do tends to be reflective - though storms, water falls and rushing rivers make great subjects too.
I'm lusting after a 9MP Lumix DMC TZ5 because it's shirt-pocket sized, 10X optical zoom, wide angle (28mm) stabiized and takes "high definition" video - twice the video resolution of my present camera. Smallness is a major attraction because it allows one to take videos serruptitiously. I take a lot of those in London where we go every April mostly for music. Most people think its just a point and shoot camera if they notice it at all.
I didn't pick up anything about the camera you're usuing.
Thanks for opening up a world of interests and making them so accessible.
Best wishes,
