Got Dog...???

Hi Folk's,

I was reading one of the most important, useful, full of knowledge thread's on this site...the joke's :p;)

The last post was about dog's which I love.

So how many of you have dog's and what type?

I have the 3 Greatest Dog's in the world ;)

Two Bernese Mountain Dog's and one Shi-tzu/Maltese mix.

My Berner's: Odin Jara is a 4 year old male who we have had since he was a puppy. He, at birth, was identified by the breeder as her next champion however one of his eye's remained blue (quite striking) which is a disqualification in the show ring according to AKC standard's. In Part his name come's from this attribute...Did not Odin sit beneath the Tree of Knowledge (Yew) and give is eye to recieve knowledge to benefit his people?
We are lucky Odin Jara did not become a show dog as we would not have had him if he did.

Chyna is a 5 year old female. She was retired from the show ring and needed a new home. We adopted her last year. It took her a while before she realized she was a dog rather than a super model :smirk::confused::D.

Then there is Bailey the Shi-tzu/Maltese mix. He is the super dog of the house. He will swim under water , chase bear's and any other "intruder".
I believe he thinks he is as large as the BMD's- his heart sure is! He too is a wonderful dog. Love's people ,cat's etc.

Life without our pups would be so different ...

Also we have 3 cat's...

I wish you Peace
Hawk

Thought I would try to post a picture of my pup's...well at least the Berner's. I'll try to find a shot of Bailey later. Hope this works.

Hi Hawk

Those are two lovely dogs.

I don't have any dogs, but I do like them.

This is a picture of my pets. I have three of them, a ponsetta named
Weyman. I always greet it in the morning with a Buenas Dias.,and a
geranium I call pink. I'm not allowed to have pet dogs or animals
so I take care of my plants. Oh I forgot my little pepper plant that
was born last week. It only has two leaves on it so far.

CT64,

As a fully paid up member of the APS (apostrophe protection society) you should know that if not for people like me there would be no need for an APS'''' :)

Since this thread was started I have been looking up everything from
dogs and cats to spiders and the American Bald Eagle. There are all
kinds of creatures and plants to choose from for a pet. The one thing
is how plain or how exotic do you want your pet. I have had the
following dogs, cats, hermit crabs, fish, plants, rabbits, gerbils, guinea
pigs, hamsters, mice, rats, and birds. When I went to a pet show someone
had me holding a beautiful boa. Believe me spiders and snakes would
be the last on my list. Did I mention turtles? I can say that's my most
favorite reptile. I saw a tortoise at this pet show that looked like
a big rock. The closest thing I ever had to a spider was the hermit crab.
You have to be careful with them for sure because of the big pincher
that can crush a pencil when it grabs hold of you. As for spiders like
the tarantula some of them are not so dangerous to humans as once
thought but if you are allergic to bee stings and want to pet one have
a good supply of benedril handy. The itchy reaction can be bad.
Even though I'm still interested and awestruck with the videos watched.

Wow! That crab is so big it looks unreal. The biggest spider in the
world can reach the span of 12 inches from one side to the other
and some people have them as pets.

Right now there's this guy who keeps teasing his pet Mexican Red knee
while he plays a video game on you tube. I've been watching this one
for the fifth time. If I was that spider I would have turned around and
bit him all ready. It's awful what people will do to their pets. I take
care of mine and love em.

At least one of these animals have forgotten the ordinary "rules" between cats and dogs. But then love has been known to cross borders.

Sibirian Husky and cat. If they are kiddins of a Husky and a cat, it could explane the very long right leg of the cat.
