Hi Stephen, I have never heard of that spider, not sure about the twin one.

Intet, some great humour going on there, I loved the rules for female golfers.

Margaret
Hi Margaret,

Back in the 70s or 08s in the states, there was a home permanent kit called the Tony. There used to be commercials on tv all the time and their catch phrase was, "Which twin has the Tony?" They would have twins and one would have done a home perm with the kit and the other had hers done at a salon. You couldn't really tell the difference. But the catch phrase stuck.

So you know.

Dame Margaret,

What about *Bark-arolle*?

methodistgirl
Sep-04-2008, 00:10
Stephen the spiders in some of those pictures are what we call jumping
spiders. They are tiny and can really jump unlike the tarantula that
has a hard time seeing.

Ugh! Jumping spiders...yikes. Every night spiders (loads of them) make webs all over our back yard and cover almost the whole thing. Some of the webs are gone in the morning, but most remain and even enshroud the plants in their webs. They look like they are wearing sweaters. I HATE walking into the webs, especially when a spider lands on men...yuk. I could never have a pet spider myself.

Well if you want to play golf Intet, here are some golf carts.

http://www.fugly.com/media/IMAGES/Random/hummer_golf_cart.jpghttp://www.fugly.com/media/IMAGES/Funny/fuglygolfcartoa.jpghttp://www.fugly.com/media/IMAGES/Crazy/fuglywtfgolfcart.jpg

Ms. Margaret :tiphat: Buy a 4-wheel reinforced armoured SUV/HUMMER for a golf cart, Right!!

This is excactly what I mean about producing completely unnessesary SUV´s/Hummer´s for golf? What happend to human caddies taking care of the golf clubs having an ordinary cart, the same people who would lose some weight while walking 18 holes?:

http://www.sunmountain.com/images/540003.JPG (http://javascript:enlarge())

But of course post 9/11, chances are that you might get attacked by the Al Qaeda terrorists at your regular golf course while playing. So you definately need a security roof made of reinforced armoured steel to catch bombs and incoming missils etc.etc. Rediculous, and then they probably only run 12 miles per gallon weighing 1,5 tons. But then that´s the USA for you!! The companies, they use 9/11 to sell these SUV´s/Hummer´s for golf. The headline in the add. saying: Protect yourself when playing golf, you never know when?

Oh Intet - now you're talking nonsense! Those spiders sense body heat and smells and have no interest in making acquaintance with humans under the sheets. Since you are in this inquisitive/interrogative mode/mood, I invite you to look up about threats to humans from jumping spiders and report back to us the scientific findings of humans suffering from the bites in their crotch by jumping spiders.

Dear Dame, quite a good use for an unruly PC...kind of like what I went through with mine a few weeks ago. I am so happy to finally be back on my laptop, tho. Now I am in the process of "undeleting" programs that were wiped out. I have totally run out of space (and I have 350 Gig of storage) so we are off to the computer store today for an external terrabyte HD. It's really amazing that you can restore files and programs even if you have reformatted your hard drive.

This reminds me of what someone once told us when we were in Paris while talking about "obese" people being encouraged to stay out of the public's eye. Not too "P.C."

I consider that to be unfair. I'm a big girl. But there is one thing I do draw
the line on. The way some of us big people look in some cloths that only
skinny people look good in. Other words I wouldn't dare wear a bikini any
where. Or would I wear a belly shirt. My spare tire stays in the trunk.

Ms. Margaret :tiphat:

I can´t help thinking: Poor W.C. Fields, he was born in the wrong millennium.

According to his wife, the only real competition she had throughout her many years of marriage to W. C. Fields was his mobile bar. This would have been like heaven on earth to W. C. Fields. No wife, no children, no dogs, no movie directors and no mother in law.

The perfect world regarding the biggest drunk in the history of motion pictures.

Just two questions though about these limos. What´s the price for one of these "things"? Why don´t any of them have a marble floor?

Thanks for your response to Cefobe's video. I liked it myself and

was that he probably didn't have a translator to give it to us in
english he had to use his spanish. If someone else joins us that
only knows spanish, I guess I will be the one to tell him welcome
to the forum. I can read and write in Spanish but not very good
at saying it in their terms.
