That's OK. It's Otomo Yoshihide time anyway.

Japanese composer, also active in jazz. Has done a fair amount of electronic and live electronic. Has done some turnable stuff, too, alone and with Christian Marclay, that is wildly fun.

Pauline Oliveros. Composer. Accordion player. Founder of Deep Listening Band.

One of the American pioneers of the sixties. Still around. Still playing. Lovely person.

That will get you to where you can see/hear some clips of Interface, which Pauline played with on a DVD that I would highly recommend. (Check the clip of Pikapika for something really cool. Pikapika's naught to do with Pauline; it's just something cool.)

Just by the way, Mat, Offenbach has already been used. In 2006.

And "Z" is no biggie, marval.

There's at least three Zimmermann's to choose from. None of which has been used.

Not to mention....

So, hmmm. Why not Berndt Alois, then.

Berndt Alois Zimmermann. 1918-1970. A very various composer. Which puts us back to "N" again. Pfffft.
