Hi, so I’m just wondering what strength reed usually correlated with each grade…? I’m currently using rico royal reeds strength 2.5 and I play grade 6/7 clarinet pieces and I want to know how much difference it would make if I increased the thickness of my reed and would it make my clarinet tone clearer. I hope there’s someone who can answer my question!
