Lets liven things up a bit on MIMF...

First there was darkness, and then it was made light.
Kind of like this computer screen turning on tonight.
When I was a teenager my parents sent away to New Zealand,
talking about moving there.
That should give you a scare.

To be historic, ancient Jewish prophets said the return of Zion would see a city of gold and jewels fall from the sky to recreate Israel.
We know the restoration of Israel wasn't only that,
but it wasn't a co-operative effort by Jewish peoples to regain their real estate.
It's an American nuclear footprint propogating the worst of military excess.
I find comfort knowing we are living in the worst of times,
because no single world loving human on earth can do anything about it.
I might be repeating myself in this domain, saying this,
but such is life and what more can I say?

?

That is pretty close to the BB, I read a science post on the www that said the initial expansion rate was trillions of times faster than the speed of light! I know, it's unbelievable but this happened before the laws of physics had been established, that is mind blowing eh even for a kIWI. deliberate typo.

What gets me more than anything else universal,
is knowing that what is positive and what is negative is determined by how you look at it,
and the smaller the atoms get, the more the act of you viewing them,
even through an atomic microscope, affects the direction of their travel.
That sounds like an ability only a benign, or hopefully loving, creator should have.
That makes me want to say you are what you see, and you are what sees you.
But to get away from global, Greece originated philosophies,
as native Mohawk say, birds of a feather flock together, and they can flock each other up.
I know the Mohawk trick for getting a seagull to come up to you,
so you can grab it with your hand, if you're that hungry.
Seagulls are seen as stupid birds, even if they have a leader.

It's all rather confusing and as in any subject "the more you know the more you realise that you don't know" now ain't that the truth.

Some truth is found in the silence between the words we don't use.

Most people don't think of failure as a strategy, even if it's very easy to do.

You see if God made man and gave him a brain (not brane) surly it is up to man to use it and not rely on unquestioned faith

I see you mentioned the brane, and brain.
Let's not be sexist here, thinking menbranes.

As a living host yourself,
do you take credit for creating the bacterial life you are composed of?

Look up brane and m theory or string theory etc, John I take no credit for anything not even the atoms and electrons that make up the bacteria.
But I do have a BRAIN (nothing exceptional) that is why I question most things.

I am very questionable, and unquestionable, at times.
At least I don't have man-boobs, the biggest question lately.
Now, if yours are bigger than your wife's, you don't need to reply.

Man-boobs even got to be part of a show at a Niagara Falls Tim Horton's,
the big Ontario donut franchise.
I met up with the bassist and drummer I'm starting a band with, dressing for it,
and got into it with locals, mostly seniors.
For some messed up reason, I say a modern band has to incorporate the male stripper influence,
what took a lot of gigs away from bar bands,
so I'm playing myself if I don't have my guitar in my hands.
This being the Niagara Penisula, even with dainty old ladies, it's going over.
That and my cancer and chemotherapy and cable bills talk.
Hey! When I sing "Let's Get Physical" I really mean it, and that involves some serious wattage.

I said messed up reason, but I know.
I love playing guitar and making music, showing off onstage, acting out loud,
but my words are meaningful weapons, as a speaker and singer,
penetrating far more than any music I can make.
And that's just living the life I'm living, not the one I have the potential for.

Yeh man you can say that again, I just love croissants with a tangy jam, do you do many Jams John ?

Jams, especially store bought jams, are usually very disappointing,
too sweet, too much pectin, too expensive, foreign, and not enough berries.
Farmer's market jams are better, okay, let me stop this and get more personal,
you ruid and tattooid man I now know you are.

I could eat a strawberry jam and peanut butter sandwich every day and like it,
but it's got to be Kraft, very thick and sticky, what my mother used for baking,
and Kraft Crunchy Peanut Butter, comfort food and very tasty for me.
Sometimes I get an orange marmalade and add ginger powder for a sandwich.

But I'd sooner buy berries and cherries and fruits that are preserved in bigger containers,
eating that with a spoon, thinking of it as more suitable for topping ice cream,
not that I've bought ice cream in the last three years.

My favorite food experience this summer.
It was so intense and exciting for me, during a Saturday blues fest in Thorold,
I thought I'd walk back to Port Robinson along the canal where I bike-hiked a lot when I first got out there,
taking off my shirt to put over my head, my Strap-locked blue bar guitar hanging on my back.
It was such a beautiful sunny day, and that late in the afternoon that side of the canal caught the shade
from the mound of earth from digging it and all the trees that have grown.
I had a wonderful surprise, really surprising considering it's very late in the season.
My favorite cherry tree was totally unpicked, when seagulls usually eat them before I can.
This was so lush I ate what I could see right away, and then thought,
behind this ditch and the close shrubbery is the other side, and it was loaded.
I must have stood there, a rest for me, for over half an hour,
No bugs at all, sure, a real worry, but it worked for me there.

And then further along my favorite wild raspberry patch looked untouched,
no deer, no birds, no animals, truly a strange sight to see, all those big red berries,
right beside the canal, heading down into the water, some I didn't even try for.
I must have spent another half hour pick pick picking away.
Out there, just off the path, I had four different groups of bike riders stop to talk,
seeing my guitar, knowing me, also commenting about me having no old man boobs.

It didn't stop. I went to a favorite place to get water to drink beside a hydro canal diversion,
and there was a brand new, big McDonald's cup with the lid and straw lying there,
clean except for one little ant that must have crawled up the straw, so I let it out and used it.
Nice! If you're thinking negative sanitary thoughts, let me also add this is restaurant quality for me,
out there.
I could drink standing up without cupping my hands, and carry some with me.
And I crushed the cup and carried it with me until I reached a garbage can.
I'm careful with plastic, knowing humans are fighting and dying over the oil to make it.

Now that I posted and see what's here, did I really just type all this?
Even I'm not sure.
Berrily, berrily, berrily berrily, life is just a scream!

Must be all of 50 years since I had a good jam and it was with a fabulous trad band 4 rhythm and 3 front line, those were indeed the good old days, I do miss them.

I'm not sorry that I'm not jamming any more,
and have finally worked my way out of the biggest jam I've ever been in.
You can only blame my, uh, dialogues here for that.

I only indulge in spontaneous improvisations,
even if I'm jamming along to the videos on the front page here.

A keyboardist the drummer knows wants to visit in a couple of weeks.
He started out on the flute and still plays it.

I'm not even eating preserved farmer's berry produce tonight.
One of the best No Frills deals is their generic frozen berries,
raspberries, blackberries and blueberries.
I call gaining weight eating foods like this hard pack fat.
It's not like water weight or protein gain.
And to think people in the sixties said I'd gradually starve to death being a vegetarian.
My Scottish grandparents thought of other white people as having a mild form of scurvy.
European explorers coming to North America had half and more of the crew dead from that,
the rest sometimes unable to walk straight or stay awake.
Natives onshore healed them, not so they could come back with guns.

I should get more ambitious and use my video camera to record some jams just for here.

JHC! I'm going to try and motivate you.
I don't know if I've ever felt this way about seeing a woman playing guitar and singing a song.
If she was standing there just showing herself as much as you see here,
she'd have to be one of the most beautiful brunettes I've ever seen, very pretty and sexy,
looking like she's too healthy, and too big breasted, maybe.
But the guitar covers most of that, a nice guitar, and she's playing and singing, oh no,
an old Led Zeppelin song, "Rock and Roll", if that's the title.

I see her as being a star where she is from and this is her first English rock song.
And more than motivating you, I'll look up the You Tube address for you.
I'm really meaning it when I say watching this video is truly remarkable.

No, oh no! No! No no no! I shouldn't have looked again. No, no, never, never.
She's got a few You Tube videos, and this one is for a Jimi Hendrix song, no, no,
this has to be so wrong, and I'm typing this before I heard the song, "Crosstown Traffic".

Well she certainly has a couple of assets and its not her singing or playing, has she broken her left index finger?
