I can get batteries in ok from "Battery Junction" a US on line store so some of it must be due to Amazon's policy

At last it is fixed I purchased a cleaning disc but no improvement, installed a couple of new free burning suits which got rid of the crackles but would not play on my new player so to get to the point I have been using TDK disc's for a long time with no problems and all of my recent efforts have been on TDK so in desperation I purchased a pack of Verbatim and "ding dong" all fixed the TDK must have deteriorated.
