This brings me back to my previous point. If infinity exists, it is beyond our understanding or comprehension, as we do not know of anything which is infinite. If infinity really does exist there must be other things which we have not experienced or comprehend. We look at faster speeds to get us somewhere faster but there may be other methods of transferring from one place, or state to another. Its just that we can not really imagine what they are, any more than the cave men could imagine space travel.

Hi Martin,
Here is my view of the Universe for what it's worth.
The Universe is Infinite and has existed for an infinite time period and will continue to do so (The "Big Bang Theory" is nonsense).
Cheers John
Martin, for me, your "odd theory" has just as much validity as any of the hundreds of others floating around out there, including those propounded by the major religions of this world.
John that is a profound statement, as I understand it Astronomers can see back to within a few micro sec of the BB and far from slowing down the UV is actually expanding faster (accelerating) are you saying this is all a load of Bull? Colin 'curious' (borrowing from Martins coda)
Who's John? What is his Avatar?
Martin, curious again (LOL)
Si uno no pregunta como aprende (if you don't ask how can you learn?)

Talking of repetition in another universe Groundhog Day was probably the most famous film with this subject. There have been many treatments of this theory. K-PAX ends with the pronouncement that we will continue making mistakes until we get it right. Then of course we have the parallel universe theory.......................

Trust me, Martin, you're not alone feeling like that! :nut: I think at one time or another, most people experience this--after all, it's not called alienation for nothing.
