Hi Corno Dolce,

Very interesting ... I knew such a beast existed from the days of Schumann ... the idea was to have the great organists of the day purchase one of these for use at home to improve technique. I think JS Bach owned one, as did several other prominent organist of that period. I wonder who, in modern times, has such an instrument ... I know that EP Biggs owned a pedal harpsichord at one point.
