Ok. My name is Jez, I'm 39. I work as a mechanical engineer in a hospital in Brighton, England. Specialising in Radiotherapy, I repair and maintain linear accelerators for the treatment of cancer patients.

Right, that's the boring bit.

I love all sorts of music from classical (anything with lots of cello rocks) to rock and punk and blues, not all that on country but Johnny Cash rocks. I play bass in a band and I have recently got into learning cello.

I'm into the stars but definitely not astrology. Love scuba diving but only on holiday in exoticish places, snowboarding (currently nursing a cracked rib but it only hurts when I laugh) and generally being a bit nuts.

I'm bordering on being institutionally single but I do have a cat.

That's me. Nice to meet you all,

Jez.

Hi Jez

A belated welcome to the forum. I think you'll find it a fun place to play. And there are quite a few other cat lovers who also appreciate music here!

Cheers

Vicki

Aloha Jez,

Aha, working with linear accelerators - then maybe you've heard of this joke: "The Universe came to a junction, when Erwin collapsed his wave function. He looked under the lid and found that it hid, a kitty in need of extreme unction."

Cheerio,
