If the music piece is not on a soundtrack, chances are that it doesn't exist for a variety of reasons:
- the music score is copyrighted;
- the composer may have specified that the score and its recording will never be for sale;
- the group that recorded it would have to be paid royalties for any future performance when it is played.
There are many musical pieces that I too would love to have in my collection. Fact is they are just not available ... at any price ... and I have to live with that, reluctantly, but I do.
Other times, for movie/film scores, the music could be "original" meaning it was created one time and one time only just for that moment and was never recorded separately.
I would suggest writing to the production company as well.
