I had a few years of lessons as a child but was never really interested in picking it up again until recently. This piece is a lovely piece which is relatively easy to play, as many of the popular classic melodies are. Downloading was easy and it remains mine forever. I would recommend. I like that I know the payment goes to the musician.
Christine (verificeret ejer) –
Beautifully done. Thank you!

I came across this piece completely by chance and I immediately really liked it! I’m learning it and planning to play it in my small, not so big, but very cozy church this Sunday! I think I’ll succeed…! You wrote it very soulfully… simple, but with taste… now I need to play it well. Thank you.

I have chosen this piece to learn as I am just restarting the piano as a senior. I am extremely rusty but feel it is a great piece to relearn on. Only issues I have for me is that my hands dont like to stretch to the chords very much, but I guess that will get better in time. The piece is beautiful to listen to. (When played correctly!!!!!)
Judy Priester (verificeret ejer) –
“Sunset” is so beautiful! I’ve played it at least half a dozen times since I purchased it.

Frederik, when I heard you playing Sunset, and could see the score at the same time, I was entranced. It was so beautiful and I was surprised that it did not look as complicated as it sounded. I felt I could learn it, despite rarely playing the piano in the past 40 years. I had all but quit, after playing a lot in my youth. But this opportunity to learn Sunset has enticed me back to the piano again. I thank you very much for that!
Desmond MCMULLAN (verificeret ejer) –
Beautiful piece of music.
Austin K. (verificeret ejer) –
It’s a very nice, nostalgia invoking piece. I wish it breathed in certain spots a bit more, but maybe that’s the point to never fully settle. Very happy with how it sounds!
Julia (verificeret ejer) –
I bought this piece to help a student learn to use the sustaining pedal confidently and competently. The melodic line and accompanying left hand makes this an ideal and rewarding piece to play for a student trying to master pedalling, and very pleasant for the teacher to listen to!

I love that partition. Not to difficult. You can definitely see the sunset from when it starts going down to its apotheosis and slowly going down past the horizon. It’s a great acquisition and I will soon know it by heart which is when you can really start interpreting the music to its fullest potential.

I love the piece. I heard it first on Sirius radio I believe. And it definitely lives up to my expectations. It’s also within my wheelhouse, which is nice when you’re in your 81st year and still hold a church music position. My congregation loves this type of music for “gathering music” before worship. I’m enjoying learning it with that in mind. Thank you very much.

I love playing this song and the price and service were great — I had this sheet music in my hands in no time! My only complaint is that, for a seemingly beginner song, we are required to stretch beyond an octave (measure 23, for intance). Many people, including myself, cannot do this. I also wish the video had been taken from overhead rather than from the side. That would have helped me with fingering.

I am always looking for different music as I play for 2 hours each week at a soup kitchen and need a variety. ABBA to Debussy with film scores in between. This will be perfect to play. Gentle music with an interest – a sort of Hanz Zimmer/ Andreo Vanzo vibe. I heard this music on Instagram and bought it immediately – beautiful. Thank you for composing it.

As I commented in the comments under Sunset , I really enjoyed the framework of the piece… Sounds great as is, but it’s simple enough to improvise and expand on it, or edit as you please …( Oh common, don’t be offended, lots of musicians do it …lol..)
I find it hard to come up with an initial concept for a song that isn’t something I’ve heard before so these are enjoyable….
I have to get Origin and the pipe organ revved up !

Such a beautiful piece of music – my music teacher also thought it was lovely, so now I must practise. I love the bottom note (almost the end of the piano and I’ve never played it before) my music teacher who is an organist said organists use the bottom notes usually more than piano players do.

Robina Harper (verificeret ejer) –
Hi Frederik….I am enjoying getting back into playing the piano, and this piece seemed a lovely way to touch base with an instrument I’ve used mostly over the years to help me practise the pieces that I am singing with a local choir.
I am now almost 79 and apart from a year or two of classical piano tuition at an early age and my own experimenting, I’ve not really done anything further about it till now. My passion from my mid thirties till a few years ago has been classical guitar and some classical training in voice. These of course only require the treble clef, and I’ve been finding it quite difficult to get back into reading the bass clef let alone using the left hand!!
However, I’m finding that this piece is leading me slowly through this relearning phase and I look forward to accomplishing the whole piece at some stage.
So thank you from me for giving me a chance to make that happen. Regards Robina Harper.

Très belle partition , avec un seul bémol, il n’y’a pas les doigtés. Ca m’aurait facilité les choses. Un autre point, c’est que je m’aperçois que mon compte a été débité deux fois ! Pouvez-vous donc me rembourser . Merci à vous ! Cordialement, Guy.
