Præludium for piano four-hands (sheet music, PDF)

Præludium for piano four hands is a rework of the ‘Præludium for organ’ from Frederik Magle’s Anastasis-Messe (Anastasis Mass)which was itself based on an improvisation, recorded in 2017.

Preserving the structure and melodic lines of the organ piece upon which it is based, the four-hand piano arrangement not only allows for the complete realization of the organ score but also extends beyond it. This transformation involved significant alterations and refinements, resulting in a fully independent work in its own right.
