Happy to find a forum which we can share our music
Every country has it's own style, and I want to hear different styles from different cultures, and of course to share Israeli music with you guys..

Well..for start...slow song by Moshe Peretz, one of our famous singers:

Shalom and welcome to our forum. I know of more who sing in
Hebrew. One of them is Paul Wilbur who goes to Israel to do
his concerts and ministry. It's nice to hear from someone from
the Holy Land.

Hi there..

1. no :)
2. hear mostly pop..look at my age:p..late 90s music

I am not a musician or something..I am here to find unique music style like the "eastern music" in my country, which is not familiar around the world
Most of the "eastern music" songs are lively, but for start you've got slow one (but beautiful!!;))

Are you into Klezmer music?? Is it played a lot in Israel to day or just left for weddings etc ? I find it a vibrant rhythmic music that really grabs hold of you Itzhak Perlman put out a fantastic CD “Live in the fiddlers house”:)

I don't like it, and I don't hear Klezmer music in the country (not on radio neither in weddings)
This kind of music is very common in the strong religious society in Israel (you know..black hats, a lot of beard, black shirts in the summer etc..LOL:grin:)
