Teddy, I know what you mean,except that I don't really like extended periods of heat--be they wet or "dry"--either. I like moderate temps, such as we used to have in the fall and spring, before all this wacky weather caused by "climate change" or some such nonsense.
And banning might be a wee bit harsh--no?

After an overcast and rather damp morning, it's become sunny in the middle seventies with a lovely breeze and no humidity. If only it would last, but alas, rain is predicted for the next two days!

So windy that people's trash is now blowing all over the streets. While driving, I tried to go around a cardboard box in the street, but the wind blew it directly in front of my car, so I ended up running it over. I hope the car's okay.

Krummhorn, I'd rather hear you complain about the heat than
complain with the rest of us on being too cold. Kentucky is
also having a rather warm day at 70 right now with sunshine.
