Are you sceptical regarding Man made global warming Nikita??

You bet your britches I am.............Of course, Al Gore and his "world tour" with speaking engagements has significantly increased the temperature of the Globe - All his Hot Air exiting from his cranial and posterior orifices has sufficed to raise the global surface temperature by 10 degrees Centigrade.

Again I am with you, perhaps the SUN has just a weeny weeny bit to do with it among other things like ice age periods

My acquaintances who research in Solar Physics are discovering elevated temperatures and pressures in the Sun's core - Indicators that point to Helium ash - The core must burn hotter since the ash quells the "fires" a bit.......

After a dismal day yesterday it is a lovely bright sunny day, heading for the high 50s. Of course, its Monday.

Very sunny, but also very cold, with a steady North wind blowing the temperature down to the middle forties.
How was it with that "global warming" again???:lol:Sunny and breezy @ -11 C.

I believe it to be an oxymoron that pseudo-scientists speak about global warming when there are winters in the Northern Hemisphere where temps hover around -50 C e.g. in Yakutsk which is in central Russia. Seriously, its a pseudo-debate based on discredited science that fails proper academic peer review from properly accredited institutions of higher learning. And to try to give creedance to the intellectual farce being foisted on the gullible, Voila! the IPCC is born.

'nuff said.............

Nuff said? You should watch your typing, Corno Dolce.
My favorite girlfriend, during occasions of extreme duress,
used to say rabbits go "nuff nuff".
The average temperature of the Niagara Peninsula has been higher than Florida,
three years out of the last five, the first time that's ever happened.
Scientists say the Niagara Peninsula receives most global warming effects,
because we're in between the bottom of two of the Great Lakes.
Ten years ago it literally didn't snow at all until the second week of February,
and the weather has been getting more moderate ever since.

I would have thought that you, as a moderator regulator, would encourage global moderation,
and with your gastronomic excellence would be looking forward to reheated mastodon stew.
This has been bad for my bicycle. Instead of having winter to rebuilt it every year,
I'm just riding it all the time, three years now without any repairs, and it needs them.
Sleeping on a picnic bench along the Niagara Parkway, snoozing in the sun in winter, without bugs? Priceless!
Except for the new climate devestations others are suffering.

Br. John Watt,

I am no moderator/regulator - Just an' ol' loquacious fool. Well, lets see now - global warming - What was located in the region of the Sahara Desert once upon a time? Lots of lush vegetation and an abundance of fauna and biological organisms - Thats why there is oil in Araby. I could go on...Man-made global warming is BOSH! If it is to be global then everyone everywhere on this Earth should be baking in 59 Centigrade heat during the Summer. Oh, and the Sun is getting hotter...What is America, Russia, China, India and all other countries going to do about that? Fire off some H-Bombs targeting the Sun? Yeah right........

Ultimately, this earth will be incinerated by the Sun...Just depends on how much more Helium ash is deposited on the Sun's core causing the Sun to expand and burn so much hotter...Some say 4 billion years from now - some say something else - It doesn't really matter 'cuz those left to witness the Sun's suface at the distance of the Moon will soon be nothing more than sub-atomic particles, if even that........Lets "migrate" this topic to anoher sub-fora, say, community chat with thread title "Solar Expansion/Overheating".

Currently snow mixed w/ rain @ +-0 C.
