There may be some natural disasters as we have seen already but the 2012 prediction is an exageration, to be modest. As for the end of world? Nobody knows when that will be.

i think the mayans just got tired of counting, and stopped at 2012. it never actually says anything about the world ending....it's just when their calendar ends.

I can guarantee this: the world is NOT going to end in October, nor next year. I've just marked my calendar to proove myself right on that and will revisit this thread then.

Today there's a convenient platform for war to develope, the first test will be at the end of this month.
Even if the world will end on 2012, I don't think it will be because of the prediction of one group or another, but because this is how the situation led.

Thank you CD, for your kind words. I see no point in worrying about the world's end, my calendar ends on 31st December 2011. I haven't thought to buy a 2012 one yet.
Can't end in 2012 ... our forum calendar currently goes through 2035. :lol:
That dooshbag Camping is completely off his rocker ... come October 22 we will all be gathering right here as we have been just like any other day.
Same goes for the year 2012, it's just the last date on the Mayan calendar ... our Roman calendar also has December 31, 2011 as its last day ... then the next day it's all fine again, same will be true with the Mayan's. It's all poppy-cock - we as mortals cannot predict such nonsense, because we, imho, just don't know.
