Sorry, I missed my chance John. Mat, a very good Brubeck..but...like John I prefer Desmond. If this had been a blindfold test I would have thought this was going to be an Erroll Garner track after listening to Brubeck's introduction. I rate it 8/10.

I guess that this is the hardbop stuff I am still trying to relate to. (Not very well in this case).
For ability of the players with their instruments 9/10.
For "listenability" (if that is a word) - for me that is about 3/10.
I never really got with the original bop either.
