Let me share with you:
For 30 years we had Siamese Cats I absolutely adore them, they are so affectionate and not at all aloof, but there comes a time when you have to say good by and this got harder and harder each time so about three years ago when our last one was laid in the earth I made the decision that I did not want to go through this again plus my time is also getting nearer and I would hate to leave a Cat to fight its own battles so the die was cast.
Ha Ha Ha A scungy old mongrel tom with one ear torn down to his head (fighting) adopted us, we give it food and water and provide a dry warm place to sleep he is too old to have fixed so he wanders. In the winter he takes residence in the Greenhouse but he is not allowed in the house and I avoid stroking him, I just dont trust my self.
Six weeks ago a young Goat decided to settle down in our garden, he was either an escaped pet or a wandering feral from across the river he is happy so that is all that counts eh
Two weeks ago I was looking through the window and saw a wee baby pig walking across the lawn I went out side to shoo it away but now it had been joined by its bro or sister so I marched over shouting and clapping my hands then out of the corner of my eye I saw movement and there was the biggest mother you ever saw at least 3 foot tall and giving me a stare that put shivers down my spine, I dont do running any more, I cant so a hasty retreat was in order. They eventually disappeared but I do wonder what is next. This is a true story.
