Just sampled off you tube--once again--"Equinox" played by John Coltrane and Mccoy Tyner. IMHO--of course--this is one of the most beautifully written and played creations ever in the whole of jazz music. Steve Davis on bass and Elvin Jones on drums are no slouches either; I literally get chills every time I listen to this masterpiece. RIP Trane. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qP6RsC7cTvg
