Its her versatility as much as anything John. She was just as much at home with Johhny Cash as Pat Meheney

Yeah! Turns out Joni hit 70, why all the news.

I stacked my Alannah Myles thread with links,
so I just got back from there.

Teddy, That is truly a wonderful group of venerable Cuban musicians. have you seen the DVD put together by Ry Cooder, in which he also plays a prominent role? Fantastic musicians!

Yes, I saw it on television a few years ago and throughly enjoyed it. Mind you, Ry Cooder can do very little wrong in my book. They appeared in Canterbury about three years ago, for one night only. The cheapest ticket was £100.00 but no matter, they were sold out anyway.

At the moment I am liking a new track of Pretty Lights – Around The Block featuring Talib Kweli at full swing!

Johns comment on the Classical thread has prompted me to pull out Sade - Diamond Life while the family are watching c*** on television. Brilliant. Thank you John for jogging my memory (or whats left of it)
