Teddy Wilson was someone I listened to a lot when I was taking records out of the library,
when I was still in high school.
He backed a lot of recording artists, and if I remember, was Billie Holliday's favorite pianist.
Lester Young on sax and Jim Hall on electric guitar too.
I was given a Jann Arden CD, liking her songs on the radio, willing to give her CD a chance.
Now I'm putting it on every day.
I'm seeing her as a more western Canada kind of Sade, jazzy and mellow, with tasty musicians,
only I'm hearing her lyrics as being more uh, entertaining, and she's a real vid-wit.
